Birthday Card/Glimmer Mist
Hello! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Here's a birthday card I made for my sister in law. I love how this came out. Paper and stamped image is from We R Memory Keepers. I used TIm Holtz Distress ink along the edges and the on the paper. Then I stamped the tree in black and I used my markers to stamp the leaves. I used copper Glimmer Mist to give the whole card a bit of shimmer. The sentiment is cut out from the "Wild Card Cricut cartridge. Enjoy!!

Sympathy Card
Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a nice evening.
Here's a card a made for some very special friends that have been going through a difficult time. The leaf is from the "Stretch your Imagination" Cricut cartridge. It looked a little stiff so I chalked around it. I added pop dots for a bit of dimension. The sentiment is from the "My Pink Stamper" collection. The bird is a Martha Stewart clear stamp. I used Marvy Uchida markers to color the bird blue and brown. Never done that before. I think I still need a little more practice with it. Tied some brown ribbon around it and chalked around the mat. All in all I like how it turned out and I hope it made some very dear friends know that I'm thinking about them.

One Day Without Shoes, on April 8, 2010, is an effort to bring attention to the impact a simple pair of shoes can bring to a child’s life. We ask people to go the day, part of the day, or even just a few minutes, barefoot, to experience a life without shoes first-hand, and to help spread awareness.
