Hello! Wanted to share a couple of gifts I made for two of my son's teachers. Teacher Appreciation Week was actually last week and I got a little side-tracked and couldn't finish them. I love these two ladies. They are wonderful with my son and he's learned a great deal them. To all the teacher's out there: HAPPY TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!!
I picked up these letters at Michaels. All other materials I already had. Paper used is from We R Memory Keepers. I sanded all around the edge of each letter then chalked around it with chestnut brown. The flower is made out of grunge paper. Grunge paper looks kind of like chipboard except it's much more pliable. I used my "fake" glimmer mist to add color to them. Used the copper "real" glimmer mist and distressed the edges with Ranger Vintage Photo. Also used stickles around some of the petals and on the butterflies to give them some bling. The butterflies are from the "Gypsy Wanderings" cartridge. Birds are from the "Home Accents" cartridge. Ribbon is from my stash and I used twine to tie the tags.
