IT'S MY BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP!!!

Hello Friends,

I hope you're having a great time.

Welcome to the "It's My Birthday Blog Hop"  hosted by the lovely Jennifer at Crafty Card Gallery

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JENNIFER!!!

If you've randomly visited and wish to start from the beginning click HERE

If you've hopped  here from Kimberly Diane's Paper Crafts then you're on the right track.  Your next and final stop is Jenn at Scrappin' Lil Turtle

By now I'm sure you've seen some pretty awesome stuff.  This is a big group of very talented crafters.

Anyone ready for Spring yet?  It's just around the corner....Butterflies always remind me of Spring. So I decided to make a lovely birthday card using the butterfly from the "Walk in My Garden"  cartridge.  I used the "Divine Swirls" folder to emboss it and added "Star Dust" stickles to give it some bling.  The stamp is from Michael's #1 deals.

What's a party without cupcakes!!  I also made these matching cupcake toppers.  The scallop circles are from "Accent Essentials" cartridge.  I used the same butterfly and added stickles to it.   The pictures really don't do this project justice.  Apologies for the quality.  It was late when I did this and the lighting in my house is awful.

Now on to the giveaway! You're going to love this......The Sweet Matstack by DCWV (with glitter).  The paper patterns in this are simply adorable.  I almost kept this for myself and then thought about how selfish that would be.  :) I think I'll just go to Joann's and buy it for myself.  Just leave a comment on this post and I will choose a winner with random.org.   I'm heading out of town and will pick a winner next week.

ENJOY THE REST OF THE HOP!!  YOU'RE ALMOST DONE.

Happy Crafting!

Decorative Letter

Hello!
I hope you're having a great week.  here's a letter I bought from Michael's a while back ago.  My cousin is having a baby in a couple of weeks and I thought it would make for a nice addition to the room.  I'm also going to be decorating the letters to the rest of her name.  I've them sitting there for a couple of months and haven't done much with them.
First thing I did was paint it pink (can you guess what she's having?)
Then I used Nana's Paper Stack for the patterned paper.  Both ribbons are from my stash.  The butterfly is from Gypsy Wanderings cartridge, the tag is from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and the sentiment is from Pink by Design. Check out the store.  It has great stuff.   This stamp is from the January stamp of the month called Fly Away With Me.  Added a couple flowers from my stash, stickles and voila!

Bee Mine......

Hi
Hope you are all having a great Monday. (as good as Monday's can be)  here's a set of cards I made for a Valentine's card swap going on at Holy Cricut  I've never been in a card swap before so I'm excited to see what fun cards I will get in return.  I hope everyone likes mine.
Recipe:
The bumblebee is from Walk in My Garden  Cartridge
The pattern paper is from a MS stack I had in my stash
The stamp is from the $1 section at Michaels
The two little hearts are scraps from another project.
I also used stickles for the antennas

Have a great day!

Good Luck and Hello Christmas cards

Can't believe how quickly this year has gone by. To all those that venture out on Black Friday...GOOD LUCK!  I hope you find everything you're looking for.  I'm not that brave.

I didn't make any crafts for Thanksgiving but for Christmas I have so many ideas.  Here's one I just started.  I will be selling these at a local craft fair.  It will be the first time I participate in one so I'm a little nervous.   The cards come in packs of 12 including envelopes.  I'm also going to be making a Christmas banner, tags, more cards and hopefully alter a frame or two.  Have a great day!!

If you're interested in stopping by the craft fair.  here's the info:
