HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY card
Just a note to wish everyone a very Happy Mother's Day. Made these two cards this morning for my mom and my mom in law. I'm loving these butterflies. Paper is from We R Memory Keepers. Butterflies are from "Gypsy Wanderings" and "Gypsy Font" cartridge.
Teacher Appreciation
Hello! Wanted to share a couple of gifts I made for two of my son's teachers. Teacher Appreciation Week was actually last week and I got a little side-tracked and couldn't finish them. I love these two ladies. They are wonderful with my son and he's learned a great deal them. To all the teacher's out there: HAPPY TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!!
I picked up these letters at Michaels. All other materials I already had. Paper used is from We R Memory Keepers. I sanded all around the edge of each letter then chalked around it with chestnut brown. The flower is made out of grunge paper. Grunge paper looks kind of like chipboard except it's much more pliable. I used my "fake" glimmer mist to add color to them. Used the copper "real" glimmer mist and distressed the edges with Ranger Vintage Photo. Also used stickles around some of the petals and on the butterflies to give them some bling. The butterflies are from the "Gypsy Wanderings" cartridge. Birds are from the "Home Accents" cartridge. Ribbon is from my stash and I used twine to tie the tags.

MPS Challenge #9 - "Take Shape"
Can you believe it? I've done 10 of these.(posted #10 before #9 oops!!) For this one we had to create a card, project, layout in some sort of shape. I used my gypsy to weld two butterflies (from Gypsy Wanderings cartridge) on the top. wasn't sure how it would look with the colors I chose but I'm happy with the outcome. Also cut out a little tag from the Gypsy Wanderings cart. Used My Pink Stamper stamp collection for the sentiment. Enjoy!!
MPS Challenge #10 "May Days"
Happy Monday!! I know Monday's can always feel like you're dragging a bit but I hope this project picks you up a bit.
The purpose of this challenge was to make a project that was springy or using flowers. As you can see I used tons of flowers. I cut the bag out from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More. The flowers are from Creative Memories. The tag is actually from a box of 100 I bought at Staples. I used my "fake" glimmer mist to make it pink.
I think it makes a great little favor or gift card pouch. You can put candy in it or a small gift.
Enjoy!
