Cute Baby Shower Favors
Hi! Happy Wednesday...I can see the weekend already!!! I wanted to show you these adorable baby shower favors I made. I don't typically make these. I try to stick to paper crafting but it seems that my little business is taking a turn. I'm becoming more of a one stop shop.....I'm so grateful for all the business and great people I've been meeting along the way. Everyday I learn something new. So I purchased the clear boxes, frosted votive candles and adorable pink and brown polka dot ribbon. I created the labels on my "GIMP" software and punched them out with a 2inch punch.
Have a great week!!!

Paper Fans Favor
CLICK here for the EXPLOSIONS EVERYWHERE blog hop
Look at these really cute favors. Made them for a friend/customer. She sends me a picture of a paper fan. As you know, crafty people always say to themselves...."i can do that":) So I had to figure out how I was going too get the information on the fan and then cut it out. I used my GIMP software to create the wording on each fan blade. Then i printed it out and created the template on my gypsy. I used the candy corn on the Smiley cards cartridge. I changed the size of it so that it would look more like a fan blade. This was made for a 50th Anniversary party but, can easily be used for an outdoor wedding, baby shower, bridal shower....etc I had to make 50 of them. That makes 250 fan blades. THANK GOD for the Cricut. I would not have been able to do that by hand. Here's what I came up with. Photo quality is not that great. They were taken at night and the lighting in my house is awful. You get the gist of it though.

Babies are FALLing
Ok...so I had time to post something else before I begin the mad dash through kids birthday parties. I have a dear friend who is having twins. Her baby shower just past and I helped out with the invites and favors. In keeping with the fall season. We used my "old faithful" "Stretch Your Imagination" cricut cartridge to make the little pumpkins on the invites and the leaves on the favor bags. The card was for the gift I gave her. I used my Imagine machine. (Nursery Tails cartridge)

here's the shadow
we cut the pumpkins using the silhouette feature and laid them on top. Added the eyes and the mouths. (that process took FOREVER!) phew!!
Here's the final product. Cuteness!!!
These are the favors which contained a really cute fall scented candles in them.
