My Bamboo Vinyl

Hello Friends,
Its been quite a few days since my last post.  I've had a busy busy summer with the family.  Here's a quick project I made using brown vinyl.  I recently remodeled my bathroom and had not been able to find what to put on my walls.  I found really cute frames with bamboo prints on them at Home Goods but I still had a small space with nothing on it. I couldn't figure out what to put there.  Then I bought the "Pagoda" cartridge, saw the bamboo trees and knew exactly what I wanted to do.  I ordered my vinyl from Expressions Vinyl (thanks to Michelle from Scrappin with my bug. ) I took a few photos of the process.  What do you think? I'm pretty happy with the turnout.  I see lots of vinyl in my future.  Enjoy!!

My blank wall. :(

Here's the image on my Gypsy.  Used 12x24 mat
Set my speed and pressure to medium.  Also set the blade to 3.
At these settings it won't cut completely through and
you can easily apply transfer tape

Here's my image cut on brown vinyl
Peel off the excess vinyl.
It's called "weeding"  No idea why!
Once the excess vinyl is removed you can apply
transfer tape  Rub it gently so that
image adheres to your tape.

when you lift off the transfer tape the image
should peel off the backing it's on. Adhere it
to the wall and rub it throughly so that
the image sticks to the wall.
Peel slowly!
TADA!!!

Tulip card

Love all the beautiful Christmas in July crafts I've seen floating around "blog world" this weekend.  Here's a curve ball for my fellow bloggers.  :)  Hello SPRING!!  I made this card for my best friend and fellow blogger Debbie.  To see her blog click HERE.  This was back in May and I never got around to posting it.  She loves Tulips so what better way to wish her a Happy Birthday.
I used the Walk in My Garden Cricut cartridge, Happy Birthday cuttlebug folder, Martha Stewart punch and MPS stamp for the sentiment!  Enjoy!
