Sea Shells by the Seashore..

Hello Crafty Friends!  It's been a fun and busy summer!  We just got back from Captiva Island.  YES, we took a vacation!!!  It was awesome!  Spent quality time with the family...a wonderful drama free 5 days.  While I was there my brother introduced me to the "art of shelling"  As I child I use to pick up shells, keep a few but never really thought much of it.  Shelling is pretty popular and at first i thought my brother was crazy.  He's pretty obsessed with finding different kinds of shells.   So I started collecting shells and looking at their beauty, size, shape, color...etc  Amazing!   Then I thought, "wow, I just paid $$ to get star fish for a recent party.  (I know, starfish are probably much more difficult to find)  but the project really inspired me to collect shells and use them in some sort of crafty way.
Here are a few of the pictures of the party items I made.  Also a pic of all the beautiful shells I collected.  I can't wait to make something with them

Damask Color explosion!

Hello friends!  I can't believe how quickly time flies when you're having fun!  I wanted to show you how cute these candy jar tags are.  I originally made them for someone local, in hot pink and black.  I listed them on my Etsy store and since then I've made them in a variety of different colors.  I've also added candy station/party signs to this collection.  It's amazing how all the colors give it a completely different look.  ENJOY and have a great week!

Who doesn't love Dr. Seuss?

Hello friends!  I can't believe it's been a month since I last updated the blog.  The time just seems to fly by.    I haven't had much time to be posting but  I have been crafting away in hopes that my little creations are making people happy.  Here's a little something I wanted to share with you. The  darling Dr. Seuss tags.  I LOVE how they came out.  It was a last minute thing.  The person had ordered tags elsewhere and they were simply too small for what she wanted.  Here are a couple photos.  The design was made using my GIMP software.  I was able to find Dr. Seuss font online which I thought was so cool.
Each tag was personalized with the guest's name.  The tags were approx 3.5" with a 12" ribbon going through it.  They were to be used to wrap around a book.

I offer these in my Etsy shop now and I'm happy to say that I already had my first order for them.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Valentine's Re-cap

Good Morning!
I wanted to share with you how successful it was for valentine's day.  If you remember a few post ago,  (Click HERE to see post)  I ranted about the different treats available for your loved ones.  Well, thanks to our family and friends and some unknowns it was a huge success.  I partnered with Jessica from JC Chocolates.  Without her I could not have done it.  Here are some pictures of how our goodies turned out.

Have a great day!

Zoinks!

Good Morning and Happy Monday! As usual I'm very behind on my blogging.  I've been very busy and quite happy that the only reason for not blogging is because I've been crafting tons of great party decorations.  Does anyone remember where Zoinks! comes from?  Who could forget?  I was thrilled and at the same time baffled when someone asked me to make centerpieces and favors with a Scooby Doo theme.  When I started doing my research it brought back memories of my childhood.  My 3 brothers and I would sit and watch Saturday morning cartoons and never missed Scooby.  it was always in the line up.

Here's what I came up with......
all of my cuts were made using the Silhouette. Could not have made this without it!!
6 centerpieces and 50 M&M treats!

 Have a great day!
