MPS Challenge #6 - "Kids Craft Too"

The purpose of this challenge was to either make something for  a child or have your child help you make something.  Mine was a little bit of both.  My son LOVES sports.  He's crazy about the "Sports Mania" cartridge.  So we made this cool football and "Nets" banner.  He helped me press the buttons on the Cricut machine and to glue some of the stuff.  This was so much fun.  BTW, we're not Nets fans, die hard Miami Heat.  Just so happen that we went to a Heat game and they played against the Nets.  :)

MPS Challenge #4 - "I Like You the Least"

This challenge was a little difficult for me.  The purpose was to use our least favorite Cricut cartridge.  Personally, I love all of them.  I chose 2 of them. The font is from the "Wild Card" cartridge.  I use this pretty often but I've never used the font feature on it.  The other cartridge I used is "Going Places"  See the little silhouette brown mountain region on the right side of the layout?  That's pretty much the only image I could use from there.   Again, I'm so glad for these challenges.  This is another layout I had pending to do.

MPS Challenge #3 - Thinking Outside the Box"

You tired yet?  There's more!  Challenge #3.  The purpose of this challenge was to use something you've never used before in scrapbooking.  You see that sun there?  Does it even look like a sun?  The picture doesn't do it justice.  I made it out of a paper bag.  Used some yellow stickles and there you have it.   The great thing about these challenges is that I've been able to catch up on my personal stuff.  These pics are from 2007!!!  Look how little the boys look.

My Pink Stamper Challenge #2 - Getting "Scrappy"

The next Pink Stamper challenge was to create something using only scraps.  Check out what I came up.  This was made for my hubby.  Paper is from "We R Memory Keepers"  I used some of it for a layout a while back and just had it there along with the heart-shaped flower (never used it for its original purpose)  Added some stickles in the center, some ribbon, a sentiment (from my pink stamper stamps) and VOILA!!!  You never know what you can come up with.

My Pink Stamper Challenge #1 Here goes!! One of many posts!

This is a series of challenges hosted by My Pink Stamper with the help of her design team and some other very talented ladies.  Its twelve challenges in total.  For each challenge you complete you have the opportunity to win a prize.  If you're up to it visit her website here and check it out.  You have until Monday to complete them.

Here is my first one.  A card for  your mother or any other mother or motherly-like person.  I used the gypsy wanderings cartridge for "mom" used a Martha Stewart  punch and made the rose using a Tim Holtz inspired technique.  Spritzed the rose with "fake" glimmer mist. (very light pink and a shimmery gray)
